I use to fly a 1979 Grumman Tiger. I switched to Autolite® plugs because I use to fly about 175 hours a year and aggressively lean the Lycoming 0-360 on the ground and in flight. The lower Autolite plugs seemed to last about three times as long (75 hours vs. 25 for the other plugs) before I had to clean them. Another feature I liked was the nickel coating. The other plugs quickly got rusty and ratty looking. And...the Autolite plugs are cheaper!

I used to maintain a flight school with approximately twenty aircraft, nine of which were Skyhawks. One day I was speaking with a tech rep and he asked me to try the new plugs in one of my aircraft. So I did, and was pleased with the results.

I bought UREM-40 Autolites for my Cessna 195 because, well, Annie looks like she'd go really well with a good ole' round-motored Cessna!
Truthfully, I've always like Autolite products for my cars and felt the Autolite aviation plugs offer the best value in the market. Congratulations on a killer advertisement campaign; I'm sure it's catching a lot of attention.

At the recommendation of another fellow A&P I tried using Autolite plugs instead of my normal Champion plugs and was pleasantly surprised. The center electrodes are wearing at a much slower rate. This will translate into decreased maintenance costs and leave me more money for fuel. More fuel, more flying. Thank you Autolite.
